Activities

Parent-Cadet Alliance: 

In coordination with our student leadership advisors, the PCA committee is our main activities, community engagement and fund-raising entity. With fun activities on the docket, we hope to increase family involvement and fundraise a modest amount for student field trips, student recognition activities and the rebirth of our athletics program.

The School Site Council & LCAP Committee: SSC is a required advisory committee related to our federal entitlement programs. It is composed of parents, students, teachers, staff and administration and is charged with reviewing and advising on state and federal grants spending and with advising and reviewing the School Site Plan and Local Control Accountability Plan [LCAP] draft process.

The English Learner Advisory Council: 

ELAC is a state required committee triggered when any school has 21 or more students designated as English Learners. This committee provides parent education to families who speak a language other than English at home -  in the areas of compulsory attendance, graduation requirements, college entrance requirements, student transcripts & grades, digital platforms, such as Aeries, Google classroom, ParentSquare and many topics by request that help English Learner families engage with their students’ education and support their success.
