OMI Cares: Recruiting the Next Generation of Cadets
At Oakland Military Institute, we believe in fostering a community of leadership, service, and mentorship. The OMI Cares program embodies these values by actively engaging current cadets in recruiting and mentoring the next generation of cadets. Through this initiative, our cadets are given the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of OMI by reaching out to prospective students, sharing their experiences, and encouraging others to join our academy.
The program emphasizes leadership development, teamwork, and the importance of giving back, as cadets personally connect with new recruits and help them transition into the OMI family. This peer-driven approach not only strengthens bonds within the OMI community but also ensures that our values of discipline, academic excellence, and character-building continue to thrive in future classes.
By participating in OMI Cares, cadets take pride in being ambassadors for the institute and upholding the legacy of service that OMI stands for. Together, they are recruiting, mentoring, and inspiring the newest set of cadets to uphold the tradition of excellence at OMI.
