On Sunday, December 14, thirty three OMI cadets and three military cadre went to the Presidio in San Francisco to participate in an annual tradition of laying wreaths on every hero's grave. The Presidio is one of over 1,600 national cemeteries who participated in the National Wreaths Across America whose mission is to Remember, Honor and Teach. Our cadets spent a little over four hours participating and were given lunch, prepared by Blue Star Moms, at the end of the event.
This has been a very active semester with over 13 community service outreach events from parades, to color guard performances, events with the CACC and other ceremonies around the area. We are extremely proud of our student body and all of the adults who continue to make this possible.
