NCS Meet at Hayward High School | Boys 1100, Girls 1230
The OMI cross country will run its last race of the season this Saturday, November 23 at NCS, the State meet qualifier. Six boys and six girls will compete and we might have one qualifier for the State meet on 30 Nov in Fresno. If you want some excitement this Saturday, come out to support the team! Tickets are $7 at the gate.
Season recap
Between the varsity, jv, and middle school squads we had 24 student-athletes complete the season. Regardless of our times, I was most impressed by the team culture- an environment where anybody regardless of experience/background felt supported to reach his or her own goals. Besides running and running some more, we volunteered over 220 hours as a team in the community and toured 8 colleges. Thanks again for all of the support during the season with van requests, grade checks, etc.
