Congratulations, Individual Major Awards Winners!

On Saturday, May 2, 2020, four Cadets from OMI competed in the Individual Major Awards. (IMAs) These cadets exemplified the California Cadet Corps motto "Essayons" meaning "Let Us Try" by taking the initiative and gave the virtual competition their best despite the difficulties they may have faced. They had to undergo practices on public speaking, research constantly on current events, and study rigorously these past two months. They competed against cadets all around California and went through a series of interviews, speeches, and a written exam but it was no match for our Grizzlies!

Tufts Pre-College Programs

From 2- or 3-week Pre-College Intensives in specific subjects, to individual Courses at Tufts for High Schoolers, there’s a program for every ambitious student.

Lottery & Open Seats Information

OMI's lottery will be held on Wednesday, March 11th at 4:00 PM. You do not have to be present to reserve a seat for your child if offered one. Oakland Enrolls will be sending mass communication to families on Thursday, March 12th. Otherwise, you're also welcome to call our Admissions office to find out if your student was offered a seat or placed on the waitlist. Our Admissions office number is 510-594-3943.

MVP Award Earned by OMI Sophomore

OMI Athletics would like to recognize Mr. Mohamed Al-Fahd for winning 2019-2020 Boys Varsity Basketball MVP Award as a Sophomore. Mohamed is a 3.0 student and has an extremely bright future ahead of him and we look forward to seeing him grow academically as well as athletically.
