Cadets will report to school on a normal schedule on the day of departure.

Uniform for Friday (April 10th):
Cadets will be in Grizzly Dress while on campus before departure.

Timeline

April 10th, 2026 (Friday)

• 0830 – 1200: Attend normal scheduled classes (in Grizzly Dress)
• 1200: Depart OMI for JFTB Los Alamitos
• 1900: Arrive at JFTB Los Alamitos and check in

April 11th, 2026 (Saturday)

• 0600: Cadet check in
• 0700 – 1615: Culminating Competition Events
• 1615 – 1700: Awards Ceremony
• 1700: OMI begins rest plan

April 12th, 2026 (Sunday)

• 0700: Depart JFTB Los Alamitos for OMI
• 1500: Arrive at OMI and release to parents

Packing List (Barracks Stay – Not Field Conditions)

Cadets will be housed in barracks. Pack appropriately for a structured, garrison-style environment:

Sleeping Items:

• Bedsheets (twin size recommended)
• Blanket or sleeping bag
• Pillow and pillowcase

Clothing:

• Change of clothes (2–3 sets recommended)
• Sleepwear
• Undergarments and socks (extra pairs recommended)
• Jacket and Sweater (It will be raining)

Uniforms:

• Class A or Class B Uniform (as directed)
• Drill uniform (if applicable)
• Proper footwear and accessories

Hygiene Items (Male & Female):

• Toothbrush, toothpaste
• Deodorant
• Soap/body wash
• Shampoo/conditioner
• Towel and washcloth
• Shower shoes (recommended)
• Hair grooming items (brush/comb, hair ties, etc.)
• Female hygiene products (as needed)

Additional Items:

• Reusable water bottle
• Snacks (optional)
• Personal medications (must be declared and properly stored)

Expectations

• Maintain military bearing, discipline, and professionalism at all times
• Follow all instructions from TAC Staff and OMI leadership
• Represent OMI and the Corps of Cadets with pride and integrity
• Ensure accountability of your gear and uniform
• Fraternization and public display will not be tolerated
