LEASE FOLLOW THE DIRETIONS BELOW BEFORE RECORD A VIDEO:

• The assignment will be grade as a final evaluation, criterion for the Spanish language subject.
• In this activity students should record a video with a minimum duration of 2 minutes and a maximum duration of 5 minutes. The video must be in Spanish, in which the student must include the respective requirements:
1- Introduce yourself in Spanish, your name, your qualities, where you are from.
2- Use the Spanish verb "gustar" to express your likes and dislikes, for example: Me gusta jugar basketball. No me gusta leer. (I like to play basketball. I do not like to read).
3- Express your feelings: talk about something you like to do in this quarantine for example, and what you do not like. You may be using the verb "extrañar". “Extraño a mis amigos”. (I miss my friends).
4- After recording the video, send it directly to the phone: (510) 458-8268 via message or WhatsApp or uploaded it to Google classroom.
5- If you prefer, see the attached video in which you can use as a reference. In the video I talk slowly so that everyone could understand and follow the model.
6- The activity must be turn in by May 25th, 2020, until 11:00 pm. Videos turned in after that date will not be accepted.
7- Spanish gradebooks will be closing on May 26th, 2020.

2- Take notes and organize the ideas before putting them on paper.
3- Prepare an essay commenting on the history and context regarding the celebration of ‘5 de mayo’, answering the following questions:
 What is the Battle of Puebla that took place on May 5th?
 What is the historical and political context of that celebration?
 What is the Treaty of Solitude (El Tratado de Soledad)?
 When we talk about the Battle of Puebla or Cinco de Mayo, are we talking about the independence of Mexico? Explain a little of what and when the independence of Mexico is celebrated.
 Why do we celebrate May 5th in the United States?
 How Mexicans celebrate ‘el 5 de mayo’?
 Before concluding the writing, express your opinion or reflection on the importance of the Battle of Puebla for Mexicans.
 Observations:
 It will not be acceptable if you only answer the questions without elaborating the text. Remember, a textual production must contain, introduction (introduce the content, what you are talking about, development and finally, the conclusion (express your opinion. Here you can be using the last question as a development guide for this paragraph).
 Minimum of words: 350 words. Paragraphs: 3 paragraphs or more.
 Do not forget to give your text a title.

2-In definition you need to tell me when or how we use tem, for example: Los pronombres personales los usamos con verbos.
3-In "Ejemplo" you need to give an example: Nosotros caminamos. Mi cuaderno azul. Me tomo un desayuno and etc.
4- In the space for "nota" you do not have to write something, this is very up to you. I provided this space just in case if you want to write an observation that helps you understand the content or about the use of the different types of the Spanish pronouns.
5- I have posted some slides and tips of some contents in our drive, please access the drive and find the content. If you need extra material to complete an assignment, please feel free to contact me.
