Shann Chu's Bio
Serving as an educator for more than 20 years, I bring varied experience as a teacher and administrator working in the k12 classroom, district office, county office, charter schools, and higher education. Along with site administration responsibilities, I bring experience in STEAM, Innovation and Project Based Learning, college and career pathways, and literacy focused programs. I have degrees from Cal Poly-SLO and Cal State-Hayward with graduate level work at George Fox University. In my life outside of school, I am a reader, a traveler, a foodie in the best place in the world to be a foodie, and a former longtime football coach still dreaming of 3 yards and a cloud of dust. I have two college age daughters who I am trying to carefully guide towards their life's work.
