Born and raised in island paradise, I have experienced the most amazing waterfalls and the worst of mother nature’s storms. My failures in life have taught me that it does not matter what you have in life; what matters is what you do with what you have in life. Therefore, at the age of fourteen my father relocated my entire family to Sonoma County, CA due to the rising issues of drug and alcohol abuse in our city. Through networking and speaking with student athletes, I found a love for the sport of football. Football taught me that greatness is limited only by the investments I make in myself. I learned the art of discipline, teamwork, trust, drive and most importantly to combine work ethic and wisdom to make an impact. Upon completion of high school, I made a commitment to serve my country in the U.S. Military. I completed eight years in the U.S. Marine Corps and currently serve as a Reconnaissance Scout in the U.S. Army. Through effort and hard work, I was afforded an opportunity to travel the world protecting Heads of State personnel, Celebrities, CEO’s and Prominent Families.
When I am not training, assessing or counseling cadets, you can find me spending time with my family. I love to spoil my nieces and nephews as I do not have any children of my own. I enjoy snowboarding, skydiving, dirt biking, camping, fishing, hiking, jet skis and wakeboarding. In addition, I enjoy finding solutions to fix and improve vehicles for rock climbing or going fast on the race track.
In conclusion, On the summer of 2018, I volunteered to assist the Oakland Military Institute (Summer Entrance Camp) not knowing that it was going to affect my entire life. After two weeks with the most amazing group of cadets, I quit my career and set eyes on a new path in life to pursue Youth Program mentorship. Ever since I could remember, my father was always there to picked me up. It didn’t matter if I misbehaved or I disappointed him, my father always picked me up. I commit and devote my life to always pick those up who are in need of someone to care for and listen to them. I have made it my personal mission to engrain a different perspective on life in a way that will positively impact, instill growth, and encourage youth to become successful citizens and the future leaders of America.
